HELLO and WELCOME to our 2020-2021 school year!

As we plan for a beginning like no other we have seen, Center Grove PTO's focus will continue to be to foster a nurturing and caring environment to help build the best educational experience for our children.  We will try to make sure every child finds a way to feel connected, every staff member has what they need to make our children's experience the best it can be, and every family feels that sense of community that shows how we are #CenterGroveStrong.

Spring of 2020 challenged us all to adapt, modify and find some new 'normal'. We connected in new ways and activities, making us feel together even when we were apart. It is our goal at CG PTO to not only find and adapt to a new normal, but to use this time to create new and meaningful experiences for our school community, which will continue to create memories that our students, staff and families will remember for a lifetime!

Our Fall may not be what we are used to with our usual Family Carnival and Movie Night, being postponed this year, but our goal is to continue to reinvent and change so that we can continue to thrive as a Parent-Teacher Organization and maintain a safe and educationally enriched environment for our children.  As always this can not happen without you, and it can not happen without creating meaningful connections between our Center Grove parents and our Center Grove Staff. While we don't know exactly what it will look like, we do know we can’t wait to return to school and learning. We know all of our families, whether returning or new, will be welcomed to Center Grove with open arms (from 6 feet away) and we will continue to grow together!     

​So how do you get information and stay informed on PTO activities?  Every Sunday, CG PTO will send you our 'weekly blast' email newsletter. It is organized in a fashion that the most upcoming and recent information is at the top and as you scroll down the information becomes more oriented toward future activities and happenings both at CG and the larger district.  This is your “one stop shop” to stay informed about the happenings of our community. 

​Typically this information and newsletter are only sent out to PTO members, who have joined our family membership. This year we recognize that coming together and staying informed as a community is more important than worrying about who is able to afford to become a member. We would like extend an invitation to join this year through our 'pay what you can' membership. If you are able to donate our suggested $20/family, great! If you are able to donate a little less, wonderful! And if by chance you're not able to donate, that is fine as well, cause we've got you this year! We want everyone at CG to be able to share in whatever activities, information and community we're able to provide, without worry.

Finally, the CG PTO website or Facebook page is the place to go to pull additional information about events or reminders of help and activities coming up.
